The Owensboro Sportscenter is a multi-purpose 5,000
seat arena which recently went through a multi-million
dollar renovation in 1997. The Sportscenter hosts concerts,
sporting events, trade shows, conventions, meetings,
and receptions. The Sportscenter is the home of the 8-time
Division II national champion Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers
basketball team.
The actual floor size is 135 x 83. The height from floor
to ceiling is 31 feet. The stage size (which is permanent)
is 50 x 22, and can be expanded with portable staging.

The Sportscenter is owned by the City of Owensboro and
managed by the Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department.
The RiverPark Center in Owensboro markets and promotes
national events at the facility. The RiverPark Center
provides on-site ticketing and box office services, house
staffing, stagehands and other services for the completion
